These terms govern your use of CareerRivet. They are written to be read. If anything is unclear, ask us at engagehubtique@gmail.com before you subscribe.
1. The service
CareerRivet is a private job-search workspace: an application board, job-description comparison, an AI skills-gap map, a weighted hiring scorecard, an opportunity dossier, a requirements board, evidence-locked resume tailoring and learning. The service is in early access: it is still being built, and the feature list on the site is the complete description of what exists today.
2. Early access
During early access, sign-in may be limited to approved testers and features may change as we build. Early-access prices may rise for new members later; your price stays as agreed for the period you already paid for.
3. Accounts and sign-in
You sign in with your Google account. You are responsible for activity in your workspace. One membership activates one workspace, and license keys cannot be shared or transferred between accounts.
4. Billing
Memberships are sold and billed in US dollars through our payment provider, Gumroad. The exact amount, including conversion and tax, is shown before you pay. Membership status is confirmed with the payment provider on each use; if it cannot be confirmed, access pauses until it can.
5. Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel any time and keep access until the end of the period you paid for. Monthly and quarterly plans: no discretionary refunds. Yearly plan: 50% refund if you ask within 30 days of purchase. Refunds are handled by the payment processor. A refund or dispute ends access right away.
6. Your data
You own your workspace content. You can export it at any time. Each workspace is isolated at the database level; we do not sell or share your data. See the privacy policy.
7. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service: no attempting to access another customer's workspace, no sharing license keys, no scraping or attacking the service, and no unlawful use. We may suspend workspaces that break these rules.
8. AI features
Some features run through your own AI account and key. Your use of those providers is governed by your own terms with them. AI output can be wrong; CareerRivet's tailoring is designed to work only from facts you have verified, but you are responsible for what you send to an employer.
9. No career guarantees
CareerRivet is a tool for organizing and improving your job search. We do not guarantee interviews, offers or any employment outcome.
10. Warranty and liability
The service is provided "as is" during early access, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. The current version is always on this page with its date; material changes will be flagged on the site before they take effect.
